Website not getting enquiries?
Lead Leak Guide
Check the issues that stop visitors from becoming enquiries before spending more on traffic. Many service business websites lose leads because the next step is unclear, broken, or not trusted.
1. Check the enquiry path
Open the homepage, service pages, contact page, and any booking or quote page. Click the main buttons. Make sure each path loads, works on mobile, and makes it obvious what the visitor should do next.
2. Make the offer obvious
A visitor should understand what you do, who you help, where you work, and what happens after they contact you. If that takes too long, visitors may compare you with a clearer competitor.
3. Add trust before the form
Reviews, accreditations, real service photos, team details, guarantees, examples, and clear contact details all reduce hesitation. Weak proof is a conversion problem, not just a design problem.
4. Fix basic search clarity
Each important page should have a clear title, heading, service description, location context where relevant, and internal links to the next useful page.
5. Prioritise fixes by lead impact
A broken booking link matters more than a tiny typo. A vague homepage offer matters more than a low-priority image alt text issue. Sort fixes by likely business impact before spending time polishing.
